Article 1: Applicants can obtain the admission contract either from the school’s website, at a personal interview or at an information session.
Article 2: The candidate must complete the admission contract, compile the application file and submit it to CREA in order to attend the assessment interview. They will be informed of the date by e-mail. If the candidate is unable to attend, he/she must contact CREA immediately. The application fee will not be refunded if the candidate does not attend the assessment interview.
Article 3: To obtain a Master’s degree at the end of the programme, candidates must meet the following admission requirements: they must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a diploma deemed equivalent (by CREA).
Article 4: The inscription contract and its annexes must be sent before the deadline in order to guarantee access to the session in question.
Subject to the provisions of the admission contract, the acceptance of the application after the assessment interview validates the acquisition of the enrolment fee by CREA.
Article 5: The decision to accept or reject the application will be communicated to the applicant within 20 working days of the interview. CREA’s decision is final and irrevocable. In the event of rejection, the application fee will be refunded within 4 weeks.
Article 6: Candidates may be admitted unconditionally or, exceptionally, subject to conditions, for example, to enable them to :
– complete a missing requirement
– repeat an assessment interview
– be interviewed by a different member of management.
Article 7: If an admitted candidate/student withdraws his/her application, he/she must notify CREA immediately by registered letter and the withdrawal clauses set out in the admission contract will apply.
Article 8: If the student realises that he/she has made a mistake in his/her choice of Master’s programme, an internal change (within the CREA Master’s programme) may be considered, subject to availability, only in the following circumstances and provided that this is done no later than 2 weeks after the start of the course:
– The student must give clear reasons, in the prescribed form, to the management of the Master’s programme he/she wishes to join.
The transfer may be subject to special conditions and must in any case be approved by CREA, provided that the occupancy rate of the chosen Master’s programme allows it.
Article 9: In the event of a request for deferment of the admission contract, the applicant/student undertakes to comply with the applicable procedure and to pay the amount due.
Article 10: If a student repeats a year (only one repetition is allowed), there is no charge for the additional year’s tuition (except for study travel expenses). The student is obliged to continue to pay the tuition fees in accordance with the terms and deadlines set out in the enrolment contract (or accepted payment plan agreement, if applicable). In principle, therefore, the student will have paid the full amount of tuition fees by the end of the course.
Article 11: With regard to tuition fees, students undertake to be up to date with their payments before submitting their Master’s thesis. The Master’s degree will not be awarded until all tuition fees have been paid in full.
Article 12: If the employer pays the tuition fees up to the amount specified in the admission contract, CREA may request payment of the corresponding amounts directly from the employer.
Article 13: Once their admission has been approved by CREA, applicants/students may apply for a grant. To do so, the student must apply for a grant using the Grant Application Form available from CREA. The instructions contained therein must be strictly followed. CREA may, but is not obliged to, assist the student in this process, it being understood that CREA is not authorised to make final decisions in this context (independent third party). The student’s admission (signing of the contract and/or continuation) cannot be made conditional on the receipt of a grant.
Article 14: The candidate/student accepts that audiovisual and/or photographic material (atmospheric images of groups of students, individual shots, etc.), including that which allows the candidate/student to be identified and/or recognised, may be produced and used to illustrate CREA’s communications (website, brochures, various presentations, etc.).
Article 15: All disputes are handled by CREA’s legal department and there is no right of appeal in relation to the admissions process.
Article 16: Cases of force majeure are reserved. For example, in view of the Covid19 situation, CREA reserves the right to hold all or part of the courses by videoconference, particularly if health measures require it and/or if the safety of students and staff can no longer be guaranteed.
